Jaguar leads in performace and sustainability with the C-X75
Jaguar’s C-X75 marks a milestone in more ways than one. The unique and beautiful design of the car is just the tip of the iceberg under the incredible state-of-the-art features that are plentiful both inside and outside of the supercar. The C-X75 is a Jaguar that will certainly be remembered and coveted by discerning collectors, auto enthusiasts the world over.
“Designed as a range-extended electric two-seater supercar, the C-X75 explores the outer limits of both performance and sustainability”, says Jaguar. The visually impacting exterior is sleek and aerodynamic, indeed a design that one would expect from a car of the future. But the most surprising features are under the hood. With a top speed of over 200 mph, and 0-60 in around 3 seconds the C-X75 will be one of the fastest production cars ever.
But the incredible power and raw speed will also be met with applause by environmentalists as the car will generate very low emissions, and will have a remarkable fuel economy thanks to its lightweight construction and cutting-edge power-train technology. For the British luxury car manufacturer headquartered in Whitley, England this will place the company at the peak of innovation showing the world that it steal leads in the field in automotive design and technology.
The plug-in hybrid supercar will be priced at between US$1.15 – US$1.48 million depending on local market and taxes. A maximum of 250 cars will be built in an unprecedented partnership with Williams F1, that will provide their expertise in aerodynamics and carbon composite manufacturing helping create a real supercar with Jaguar. Ian Callum, Director of Design, Jaguar Cars said “This will be the finest looking and most innovative Jaguar ever produced. Even in the world of supercars, we can still produce the most beautiful”, and with its exquisite design and superb performance, we think he might be right.
