Lamborghini’s Fierce Ultra-Exclusive Bicycle
For those who have their super car parked in their garage and want to go for a spin on their bikes while still being fabulous need look no further. BMC has teamed up with Lamborghini to produce the “BMC impec Automobili Lamborghini Edition”, a supercar inspired version of their flagship road bike.
The Swiss-made carbon fiber bike looks fierce and is aesthetically distinguished by its brake hoods, handlebars and saddle trimmed in the Italian car maker’s suede. Paint as you can expect is done in a special airbrush artwork in typical “Argos Orange”, the color of the Lamborghini Aventador LP 700-4. If that wasn’t enough to shout your love for the Italian carmer then there is the front of the frame which has the logo of “The House of the Raging Bull”. The bike also features exclusive high profile Mavic Cosmic aero carbon rims, which make it even more lightweight and the DI2 electronic shifting system.
Automobili Lamborghini and BMC are dedicated to innovation, in an effort to advance production methods for carbon fiber elements and lightweight: the luxury brands share a mindset in facing the challenges of making the best products in the world. The bike frame is “handmade by machines” in an controlled and automatic process that yields not only premium performance product but also one of precision and high-quality.
The BMC Impec Automobili Lamborghini Edition is one of the first, in what we hope is a long-term partnership that will likely develop additional high-performance products. The Lamborghini bike comes at the time when similar priced limited edition bikes by Ferrari as well as other car companies such as BMW, Mercedes and McLaren have sprouted.that have also lent their expertise to manufacture bicycles. Only thirty of these babies will be made and are available at one of Lamborghini’s 120 dealers worldwide. The price is a hefty 20,000 euros or roughly $25,500.
