Mercedes-Benz’ First Fragance for Men is Filled with Personality

Mercedes-Benz is best known for its immaculate cars, but now the German automaker seeks to expand a little by bringing us a scent that combines woody notes with freshness of flowers. Mercedes-Benz by Mercedes-Benz is the first fragrance of the carmaker for men, the vibrant, sexy and masculine scent perfectly captures the brand and target markets of the company.

Developed by renouwed Firmenich perfumsit Oliver Cresp, the new fragrance is a blend of “fresh and spicy” but also “woodsy and masculine”. Cresp, whose portfolio includes more than 50 fragrances worked with Daimler to make a scent that has the freshness of summer in Central Europe along with the depth of autumn in Germany. As the fragrance is for men, Mercedes has designed a masculine and modern bottle. The perfume, which is created in partnership with the INCC Group adds to the wide range of luxury accessories that include watches and glasses.

Amongst the top notes in the very attractive and sophisticated perfume includes Calabrin bergamot, Amalfi lemon essence, cucumber and Italian mandarin. The middle note or heart of the perfume features a warm and spice mix of Bourbon pepper, nutmeg, violet flower and Galbanum resin. Base notes in the perfume offer a spicy finish cool finish with American cedarwood, Ambrox and Patchouli.

With this new creation, Mercedes seeks to sitr our olfactory senses, but fact has it that this is not the first scent and perfume of the company. Those who drive Maybach or Mercedes S600 already had an exclusive scent that came with those select models. But with Mercedes Benz perfume, the company is seeking to expand to a more mainstream market.

The scent is great gift for any significant other if you want to buy him a Mercedes-Benz but cannot afford the car. The fragrance is exclusive sold at Lord & Taylor where it retails for $85.00 for the 4.0 oz eau de toilette spray and $65 for the 2.5 oz. Those in Europe can find the fragrance at Harrods where it retails for 48 euro for 75ml.
